How to get involved

There are lots of ways to get involved with your community council.

You can attend one of the regular public meetings. You’ll be given a chance to ask questions or raise an issue.

You can also email your councilor (click the contact us link above).

Or your can stand for the council yourself. There may be a vacant place on the committee. Alternatively, if there’s too many candidates you might have to stand for election. These elections are organised by West Lothian Council.

Your local community council can give you guidance on how to join. Alternatively you can ask West Lothian Council’s community council team for help.
